Dr Winters is currently a staff specialist in the Department of Otolaryngology at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia. He is also an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane University in the United States. He is a passionate advocate for the role of surgeons in global health, and has made this a significant aspect of his career.
