Naydeli Garcia Perez, Bariatric Surgeon from Venezuela with more than 10 years of experience in teaching in her country, focused on minimally invasive surgery, with more than 500 cases of SILS performing gastric sleeves, splenectomies, hemicolectomies, Hysterectomies among others. She came to Australia in 2018 to undertake 2 master’s degrees in health management, one at the University of Sydney and the other at Western Sydney university and decided to stay here. She is currently a Surgical Specialist Trainee in Campbelltown Hospital, in Sydney.
