Kirsten Larkins

Professional Bio

Kirsten is a SET General Surgical trainee in the Austin- Northern training hub in Victoria hoping to help build the future of robotic surgical education in Australia and New Zealand. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne researching innovative cognitive and technical approaches to robotic surgical training with a particular interest in multiplatform robotics education. Alongside her research she is an education consultant for the International Medical Robotics Academy helping to improve access to high quality robotic surgical training both locally and internationally. She hopes one day to follow her mentors footsteps into a career in colorectal surgery
