Julia Simons is a paediatric surgery registrar (unaccredited) at Queensland Children’s Hospital. She graduated from Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine in 2020 and holds a BA in Human Social and Political Sciences. She worked as a junior doctor in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia in 2022. She has represented UK junior doctors as a British Medical Association union representative and as the junior doctor representative on the executive board of the Doctors’ Association UK. She is an aspiring paediatric surgeon.
