Rennie Qin is a general surgery trainee at Te Whatu Ora Taranaki in Aotearoa New Zealand. She has completed a Master of Public Health and a Paul Farmer global surgery research fellowship at Harvard University as a Fulbright scholar. She received the Gordon Gordon-Taylor medal for the highest mark in the Generic Surgical Sciences Examination in 2019. She is passionate about advancing health equity and climate justice.
