Mark is a bariatric, upper GI and general surgeon from Nelson, New Zealand. He has fellowship experience in extended scope general surgery at Royal Darwin Hospital, and bariatric surgery at Joondalup Health Campus, Perth. Mark has interests in equity of access to bariatric surgery and advocates for generalism in rural healthcare through the Rural Health Equity Steering Committee of the College. He is the Younger Fellows Representative on the New Zealand Association of General Surgeons Executive.
