Wilson is a final year medical student at Western Sydney University with a strong interest in improving patient outcomes through surgical research. Thus far in his education, he has been awarded the John Flynn Placement Program Scholarship, achieved the Dean's Merit List and is now conducting surgical research as an affiliate with the Surgical Outcomes Research Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Outside of academics, Wilson is involved with his university's surgical society, and he volunteers with St John Ambulance. After medical school, Wilson is interested in pursuing a career in general surgery.
