Simon is an orthopaedic hand and wrist fellow, medical education Ph.D and culture change advocate, with an international reputation for his work. He is a founding and Executive member of the International Orthopaedic Diversity Alliance. He also sits on the NIHR Clinical Education Incubator board and is Associate Editor for Medical Education, Clinical Teacher and the British Journal of Surgery. He is past-Vice Chair of the UK Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Trainee Doctors’ Group and past-President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees’ Association. He has delivered over 250 keynotes globally on his landmark work around improving culture and training.
