Scott is a surgical research affiliate with the Surgical Outcomes Research Centre which is an academic surgical research unit of the Sydney Local Health District and the University of Sydney. Scott’s research is centred on prehabilitation, such as nutritional, exercise, or psychological interventions to improve postoperative outcomes for patients undergoing surgeries for a range of cancers.

Scott is completing an MD at the University of Sydney.
