Sarah is an academic rural general surgeon with a PhD in Surgical Education. She is passionate about surgical education, surgical decision making, teaching clinical skills and encouraging diversity in the surgical workforce. She is an honorary senior Lecturer at Otago University, Director of Medical Education at Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa and the Aotearoa New Zealand Surgical advisor for RACS.
