Ruben is a Junior Doctor (PGY1) working at Alfred Health in Melbourne with interests in surgery, research, and education. He completed his MD at the University of Melbourne, attending clinical placements predominantly at Austin Health in Heidelberg. During this time, he benefited greatly from the selfless teaching and mentoring efforts of Austin Health's diversely skilled workforce. These efforts inspired his involvement in medical education and mentorship throughout medical school and now as a Teaching Associate at the University of Melbourne.
