Dr Richard French FANZCA: Interim Chief Medical Officer, Health New Zealand Canterbury Waitaha. Richard is a New Zealand trained Anaesthetist who has been involved in Clinical Leadership for 12 years. In his CMO role he is well versed in supporting Surgeons when they experience difficulties, including interactions with our regulatory authorities. This session will consider what leads to complaints from colleagues and how you can “inoculate” yourself against the consequences of a “bad day” in theatre.
