Maggie is an unaccredited surgical registrar at the Department of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. A 2020 MD graduate from the University of Melbourne, she has worked as a junior doctor across rural Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne, with a diverse experience in different subspecialties in general surgery, including trauma and surgical oncology. With a keen interest in research on upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery, Maggie has co-authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is enthusiastic about contributing her passion to advance surgical knowledge.
