Dr. Miller is a board-certified general surgeon and hospice and palliative medicine specialist with fellowship training in clinical medical ethics. She practices acute care surgery, provides palliative medicine and clinical ethics consultation, and has worked as an inpatient and home hospice physician. Her clinical work focuses on the integration of palliative medicine and clinical medical ethics into the care of seriously ill and injured surgical patients. She is a co-founder of the Surgical Palliative Care Society and the founder of Physician Just Equity both nonprofit organizations.
