Mingchun is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame Perth, before relocating to The Wollongong Hospital in NSW to be closer to family. She is the current Vice President of the Pre-Vocational Australasian Surgical Society. In 2023, she conducted an audit on physiotherapy compliance post head and neck free flap surgery at Fiona Stanley Hospital and was a research assistant for General Practice Supervision Australia focusing on how virtual communities of practice can reduce isolation among rural practitioners. Mingchun aims to embrace costal living by taking up surfing and cycling this year.
