Mahesh is a final year MD at Monash University. He has a keen interest in clinical research and has obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) in research with Monash University based on the evaluation of pain in infants undergoing open and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Mahesh also has a keen interest in global health. He is currently the Chair of the Global Surgery division in the Australasian Surgical Students Association and is the Australian representative for the International Surgical Students Network.
