A/Prof. Laurencia Villalba is the Founder and Clinical Lead of the Venous Thromboembolism service for the ISLHD in NSW. Immediate past HOD of Vascular Surgery and a proud member of the court of examiners for RACS. She has received awards for her research on VTE management including the Graham Coupland Medal for outstanding contributions to the future of surgery.
