Jesse is a colorectal surgeon at Waikato Hospital and a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland. He completed the ANZTBCRS training program in colorectal surgery in 2021 and was awarded Master of Medical Science with Distinction for his thesis on predicting the response to radiotherapy for rectal cancer in 2020. He has a long-standing interest in optimal management of the malignant colorectal polyp.
