Professional Bio
I am a SET 5 General Surgery trainee aiming to pursue a career in Endocrine Surgery. I successfully completed my General Surgery Fellowship Examination in 2023. I completed my BMedMD through UNSW in 2015 and have since completed a masters degree in Traumatology. I have published articles including a randomised control trial looking at the effect of pre-operative cholecalciferol on post-thyroidectomy hypocalcemia, another comparing high risk emergency laparotomy calculators and a biomechanical analysis of abduction pillows post-rotator cuff repair. I have also presented research looking at incarcerated femoral hernias, adult ileal intussusception and use of nasogastric tubes in small bowel obstruction and their effect on aspirates rates.
