I’m Dr Jacob Hampton, currently working as a 3rd year General Surgery Education and Training Registrar through Hunter New England Health in NSW and a Higher Degree by Research Student through the University of Newcastle, NSW. I received my Bachelor of Medicine through the University of New England in 2016 and since completed my Master of Surgery through the University of Sydney 2019. My current Higher Degree by Research is looking at the foundation for the development of a decision aid to facilitate shared decision making in the treatment of low-risk thyroid cancer.
