Dr O’Grady is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Auckland. He has cross-disciplinary expertise in clinical trials, translational physiology and bioengineering, and has published a large number of papers and patents in these fields. He also specialises in research commercialisation and currently serves as CEO of Alimetry, a medical device spinout from the University of Auckland.
