Gary Crosthwaite is an Upper GI surgeon and the Clinical Institute Director of the General Surgery and Gastroenterology Clinical Institute at Epworth Healthcare. He is a founding Board Member of AANZGOSA as well as the founder of the Melbourne Upper GI Surgeons Group. He has had an extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery and performed the first POEM procedure in Australia in 2013. Since that time, he has developed extensive experience in oesophageal motility disorders.
