Elizabeth is a general surgical fellow having obtained FRACS in May 2023. Previously a Monash trainee, she commenced a breast surgical research fellowship at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital in Victoria this year. Having published and presented on indeterminate breast lesions and the need for excisional biopsy, she has continued her research into breast oncology. Today, she will be presenting on the Australian single-institution experience with intra-operative radiotherapy in early breast cancer and the oncologic implications.
