Debbie is the CEO of the Pasifika Medical Association Group of companies, the largest Pacific NGO in the region. Debbie has been instrumental in the development of Pacific health services in Aotearoa and the region. She has held leadership roles in the Ministry of Health, District Health Boards and international consultancy firms. She was invested as a Commander Royal Crown of Tonga for her service to the Kingdom, is Vice Chair of the Moana Rugby Franchise, a Trustee of the Milford Asset Management Foundation and Member of the Governing Council of Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa Center for Pacific, Global Health at the University of Auckland. She is a member of the Privy Council Health Advisory Committee for Tonga and is Chair Pacific Health Advisory Committee to Hon Min Reti
