My name is Daniel Jemberie. I graduated from Otago medical school in 2018, after working as a qualified pharmacist for a number of years. This career shift was driven by my desire to contribute more to patient care. Since graduating from medical school, I have been working at Te Whatu Ora – Waitaha Canterbury, gaining experiences in various specialities. I am currently a general surgery junior registrar, working towards pursuing my lifelong ambition of a career in surgery. Outside of medicine, I have a passion for running, listening to history podcasts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
