Dr Dan Costello is a Urology Registrar at Royal Melbourne Hospital. Last year he completed a Master of Surgery at the University of Melbourne. His thesis described a new curriculum for robotic surgery training using stereoscopic video, virtual reality simulation and 3D printed synthetic human organs underpinned by human factors training. He is a curriculum developer at the International Medical Robotics Academy and a passionate surgical educator.
