Mr Colin Barber graduated from Otago Medical School in 1978 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1986. He completed a paediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC, USA (1987-1988). He has worked at Starship Children’s Hospital since its inception in 1991 (together with private practice). He was the Clinical Director from 1991-2004, and specialises in the paediatric airway. He has published a number of papers in the field of paediatric otolaryngology.
