Dr Chui Foong Ong graduated from University of Melbourne Doctor of Medicine in 2021. She is currently working as a surgical resident at Western Health, keen to embark on a rewarding journey in General Surgery. Her research interest focuses on exploring the intricate interplay of body composition and its profound impact on postoperative outcomes in general surgery patients. As part of the Western Health Surgical Research Group (WestSuRG), she actively engages in multi-centred collaborative research initiatives.
