A/Prof Chrys Hensman is a Melbourne based Benign foregut, Bariatric and General Surgeon. His main clinical interests are in Robotic surgery, High resolution impedance Manometry for the diagnosis of GORD and Hernia surgery, his research interests are in Ergonomics in Robotics Surgery, and Clinical quality registry in Hernia. He was one of the founding members of the ANZ hernia society. He is actively involved in teaching and is a supervisor for PhD students. He has published extensively and is the RACS representative to the TGA on hernia mesh.
