Cameron is a General and Colorectal Surgeon, born in South Africa but raised in the United Kingdom, obtaining his medical degree from the University of Nottingham and undertaking residency in London. In 2013 he immigrated to Australia where he underwent advanced surgical training. In 2020 he completed his General Surgery Fellowship. Further subspecialist colorectal training was obtained, via CSSANZ, at Royal North Shore and Prince of Wales Hospitals, Sydney, and The Tweed and John Flynn Hospitals, Gold Coast. He is now a consultant surgeon in Sydney providing emergency and elective colorectal services with a focus on minimally invasive techniques.
