My name is Barbora and I come from Prague, Czech Republic. My husband is a kiwi and was born in CHCH. I work in a large academic hospital in Prague called Motol - although all my english speaking friends call it a motel. Im a secretary for quality within the EHS and often joke, that my role is more to protect equality, in Europe we do have a bit of an issue in gender equality and it is my mission to help fixing it. My surgical passion are hernias, for many an inferior diagnosis, but for those passionate enough an endless source of learning, reserach opportunities and joyfull operating. In my previous life I used to be a kayaker, now Im part time surgeon and part time mum to two boys - Liam and Finn.
