Andrew MacCormick trained in General Surgery in Aotearoa New Zealand. He undertook his fellowship in Upper GI and Bariatric surgery. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Auckland and a Consultant Surgeon at Middlemore Hospital. He works as a Bariatric and Upper GI surgeon and Director of Trauma. He is the Head of the Medical Programme for the University of Auckland.
